2013 in review

I thought it would be fun to share WordPress’ annual report with you. Thanks to all of the readers who have visited the site. Special thanks also to my ‘top commenters’ for adding a lot of value to this blog. Happy New Year everyone!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 31,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 11 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Hmmm. Elke was my most frequent commenter, too. The lady gets around! :D

Yes, she’s very active in the blogosphere. She doesn’t write throw-away comments either; they’re usually at least a paragraph and very thoughtful. I don’t know how she does it, but I appreciate it.

  2. China and Africa the least interactive for you as I am sure for all. Let’s hope they gain access soon. Be you in the coming year and congrats on those sold out operas!

  3. the amount of people who have heard me sing opera and the total views of my blog are roughly in the same ball park (4 digits). I don’t know how well you sing, but you definitely deserve the 5 digits for your blog ;)
